Welcome to Eleanor’s East Yorkshire Ink and Watercolour Illustration Workshops!

Join Eleanor on her next seasonal wildlife workshop to learn an array of skills and methods for working in ink and watercolour. Will be working from an array of wildlife reference photography to create your own illustrations.

The morning will be split into multiple short, fun and fast-paced activities to go over pencil, pen and painting techniques, interspersed with short demos from Eleanor. Then the afternoon everyone is free to work on their chosen subject with 1:1 support from Eleanor for more specific guidance and advice.

All materials, refreshments and food will be provided. Lunch will be a light afternoon tea buffet style lunch freshly made and provided by local and popular deli 'Gilbert's Deli' in neighbouring Gilberdyke. This allows time to chat and discuss anything and everything art with Eleanor and between each other.

Groups are kept small and intimate with a maximum of 15 places to allow plenty of individual support from Eleanor ensuring everyone gets the most out of her workshop day.

The day will be finished off with a light bite, drinks and group critique, celebrating everyone’s creations and experiences from the day. Also a further opportunity for a Q&A with Eleanor.

“I believe everyone has a creative side, it just needs to be encouraged and nurtured. Creativity can take form in so many ways but it’s through play and experimentation whilst having the support and encouragement to do this that everyone’s hidden flare can come to the surface. My workshops promote bringing out the best in everyone’s abilities, no matter their past experience.”
