UPDATED FROM ORIGINAL LISTING. An artwork to mark and commemorate the late Queen Elizabeth II on what would have been her 100th birthday. Celebrating her life, reign and passion of horses.
The artwork captures her life in 3 parts; as a young girl on first pony Peggy the Shetland, as Queen at Trooping of the Colour on her beloved Burmese, and lastly as our older monarch on her legendary Emma the Fell Pony.
Accompanied within the piece by 3 corgis, one pushing a childhood horse toy of HM, one carrying her iconic black patent handbag, and the third carrying a red hat worn by the nation's favourite bear and linking back to the artist's viral past artwork.
Print size: 20cm x 42cm
Printed professionally in Yorkshire on high quality 200 gsm silk finish paper. Each print comes individually hard backed & sealed in a clear biodegradable wrapper.
OPEN EDITION INFO - PLEASE READ
Wow!! What a response to this artwork we've had in the last 24 hours. Words cannot express how taken aback I am. The limited edition prints sold out within 20 minutes last night after being launched at 6pm! Thank YOU from the bottom of my heart.
I had hoped you all would have loved this artwork, I thought there was a good chance that they would sell out... maybe later that night, or later that week. But not in 20 minutes!
I know so many of you were disappointed about not securing one of these signed limited edition prints. I am so sorry about this. I could never have predicted the demand and speed they went at. As an artist you hope for those moments but would and could never expect it.
A LOT of you have requested more copies of the print. I wasn't going to offer another option as we had the DL sized card. But many of you have expressed wanting a larger copy via email and on socials.
So we are going to open PRE-ORDERS for an OPEN EDITION PRINT. But with a twist...
These open edition prints will be the same size as the first series of prints. They won't have the gold foil detail, or be signed or numbered (this has been reserved for the sold out limited edition run).
£5 from every open edition print to be donated to one of the Queen's charities...
We will have a think of one (or a few) that are the perfect fit and maybe have a vote for which we donate this money to on my social media pages. So the charity is at the moment to be confirmed still.
Thank you for bearing with me. It's such a hard line to balance and we never can know for certain how something will go down, or how quickly, and limited to what we can do or put in place as a small business.
