In 2023, Eleanor was asked to illustrate a very special invitation for a new charity - Yorkshire Children’s Charity.  They were organising a large fundraising event , “ A Night Under The Stars” to be held at Grantley Hall in North Yorkshire.  Teaming up with award winning Yorkshire author , Milly Johnson , they created a beautifully  illustrated book to invite specifically chosen guests to the charity’s inaugural ball.  Eleanor was also asked to create a new illustration to be auctioned off, at the event to raise additional money for the charity.  On the night itself, attended by hundreds of eager guests including royalty,  this illustration sent the bidding sky high, raising an impressive £32,000 for the newly formed charity.  The event as a whole raised over £843000 to help children across the whole of Yorkshire.  

 

Since then, Eleanor continues to work with the charity, volunteering her time to make visits to schools in underprivileged areas, supporting them in their art provision to children who would not otherwise benefit from receiving an art workshop from an award winning artist.

 

In 2024, Eleanor is again teaming up with the wonderful Milly Johnson to create an invitation for this years A Night Under The Stars where they are hoping to raise an incredible £1,000,000.
